Assalamualaikum..
Today is my first time come late to the class. When i enter the class, Miss Zu was there.. That time i feel so scared if she angry with me, but i not alone that time.. Izhan, Shah, Izwan, Wasim, Imran and Hisyam were there too.. That time Miss Zu was ask Mastura to log in her blog.
But the important is, today i learned about topic sentence..


Topic sentence - a complete sentence that contain topic and controlling ideas
Topic - the main idea for whole paragraph
Controlling idea - in each paragraph


Tips to write topic sentence
- contain topic and controlling idea in a complete sentence
- controlling idea can be first, then topic or topic can be first, then controlling idea
- topic sentence not have many controlling ideas


This can use to write your essay..

time for show (musical class)

Assalamualaikum..

Today is the day that very surprise because happened something that unsual in my life. The unusual that i said just now is my class have to do acting but including a song in the dialog like 'High School Musical' story but we have given one topic for each group.. My group topic is 'reining a train' something like that, i forgot the tittle.. The story begin with 2 women take a train to back to their hometown. then the train stop to take another passagers. When the train want to stop, Apis as drive will sing a song that tittle ' Through the Window' by Bunkface. When the train at a top speed, one girl fall her book, then i took the book and sing a song that title 'Marry You' by Bruno Mars and give the book to her.. After the incident, dhiya and i know each other. It also happen to jaja and hisyam.. Being in a conversation, dhiya feel to sleep and i sing a song that tittle 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star'.. This song very familiar to me because i was heard this song since my childhood.. After she wake up from her sleep, she sing a song that tittle 'abc until z'.. And the end, the train reached the destination that dhiya and jaja want to go.. Before their go, they sing s song but i don't know the song tittle.. 

However, i like this activity even i shy to sing a song.. The thing that made my class proud is Hisyam confident level slightly increased.. Miss Zu said, the important is we have to made our room confident to become bigger..

the sad word (goodbye)

Assalamualaikum..

Today i learned one word only, that word is 'goodbye'.. We only use this word when we leave someone.. So the task that my class have to are acting the short situation in pair that contain the word goodbye and the other pair will guess what the situation about.. My pair is Wasim.. My pair did the situation that a worker was fired by his boss because he bored work there..

Here some words that other countries use to say 'goodbye'.. 

- Italy -> buona sera

-France -> au revior

-Thailand -> sawadee

-China -> zai jian

-Malaysia -> selamat jalan

-Denmark -> farvel

-Kenya -> kwaheri

-Egypt -> m'asselema

So, if you want go to other country you can use all the words when you what leave the country..

Today i learned about thesis statement..


Definition -  is acomplete sentence that contains one main idea. This idea controls the content of the entire essay. A thesis statement that contains also helps a reader know how essay will be organized.


Here some tips to write thesis statement
-states the main idea of the essay in a complete sentence, not in a question..
- is usually at the end of an introduction
-states an opinion or attitude on a topic.
-often lists subtopics
-does not announce your main topic..

So, we need to understand what is thesis statement to write essays...

imagine the thing (keys)

Assalamualaikum..

Today my class do activity that involving use one thing and use it in the acting. The thing that my group choose is the car keys belong Miss Zu. What we need to do is, use the keys with other function not use it as keys.. 

My group playing on Valentine's Day and we use the keys as ring that the boyfriend give it to his girlfriend. The other function of the key is as earring.. Mostly the function focus to jewelry. Actually the reason Miss Zu do this activity to look whether we creative or not to change the function of that thing.

So, we need to be more creative in our life and also know about surrounding us.. Do just what you want to do as long it not unlawful..

writing essay

This time i want to share about how to write an essay with fast and good. For write the essay we need some technique, even the good writer also have their own technique.. Here some technique that we can use for write an essay.. 


Technique..
- brainstorming - we come out the ideas what in the brain in a seconds
-clustering - come out the ideas with use mind-mapping and arrange the point properly. This technique is popular because the writer like to use it.
-free writing - we can write what ever we want without thinking about the grammar, vocabulary and else. Just write what you want, nobody can blocked you !!
-quick writing - same with free writing but it have specific ideas or main idea..


We can use these technique to write essays. This can improve ours essays even we looked it so difficult.

nouns

Today i learned about NOUNS.
Definition - Nouns is the name of a person, place, thing or idea.. There are many types of nouns such as proper, common, collective, abstract, uncountable, countable, possessive and else.


proper nouns - refer to specific people, places or things. We use capital letters for the first letter of these nouns..
Example - Sahri, Ujang, Johor Bahru, LRT


common nouns - refer to people, places, things or animals in general (not so detail, something like that).
Example - lecturer, resort, cats, telephone and else


collective nouns - refer to a group of people or things.
Example - group, team, band and else


countable nouns - something that we can count it.
Example - chair, beg. and else


uncountable nouns - something that we can't count it.
Example - hair, time, air, water and else


possessive nouns - adding 's or' to show possession.
Example - Ujang's car, my parents' house..


Actually i also not good in nouns, however i can improve it..
together we learn about it..

scene of P. Ramlee movie (3 Abdul)

Assalamualaikum..

This time in my class we have separate to 6 group.. my group is number 2 that contains i, apis, hisyam, mastura, dhiya and tijah. What we need to do is we have to take a scene from P.Ramlee movies and act in front of the class.. First time heard the task, i felt like to die. The movie that we act is 3 Abdul. The scene that we take from the movie is when the Abdul Wahub buy his sister-in-law and  his father-in-law and bring them to his house. There, Abdul Wahub ask apologize from his brothers and his father-in-law..
Actually that my first time act in front the class with speak in english..
However, i like this activity even the time for do the activity is short..

reading

Today, in class BEL 120 i learned about how to reading in fast way such as scanning, skimming and else. 


- Scanning is the way that we just read one time only and get the idea without reading again the passages.


- skimming is the way that to find out the idea or point in the passages. This technique also we use when we reading a long of passage because it can save our time. When skimming, we look for key words.


This a way that we can use when we want reading faster..
I also not good in these technique because i like to read again the passage until i understand what the passage about. For who good in english, they can use this technique..
